The purpose of my website is to become an extension of the museum, where children and parents can have all the information they need to plan their visit. They can buy tickets online, learn more about the exhibitions, events and classes. They can also become members, make donations and plan their children’s birthday parties. I also intend to create an interactive virtual space, where children can learn having fun. This space can offer games with cultural, social, environmental, geographical issues, games to improve children’s memory skills, puzzles, among others. The Children’s Museum of New York website will also have an online store, offering tickets to the museum and products (toys, games, books, CDs, arts and craft material, maps, posters, etc.) related to the museum’s attractions and exhibitions.
